As a Sacramento Philharmonic & Opera patron, we want to try to make sure your season experience goes smoothly. To this end, we’ve put together some useful information:

*Accepted methods of payment: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover

*Lost and Found: If you left something behind at one of our concerts, please call the Community Center Theater at 916.808.5181 for assistance.

Ticket Services

Unable to attend one of the concerts in a series? There are several options for subscribers:

You may simply give your tickets to a friend or family member

You may donate your tickets back to us, so we can resell them. Your ticket donation will count as a monetary, tax-deductible donation. Ticket donations must be made at least 24 hours prior to a concert. We cannot accept ticket donations at the Box Office window. If you would like to donate your tickets back to us, please call 916.808.2000

You may simply transfer the tickets from the concert you are unable to attend another concert, thereby doubling up the number of tickets, so you can bring friends or family. Please call 916.808.2000 if you’d like to transfer your tickets

*Lost or misplaced your tickets? Simply call our office at 916.808.2000 and we will reprint and mail them for you. You may also stop at the subscriber window at the Box Office the evening of a concert and we’ll reprint your tickets

*If a member of your party is arriving late, you may leave the patron’s ticket at Will Call beginning 30 minutes prior to a concert, per Community Center Theater policy

Seat Upgrades

Want to upgrade your seats? If you’d like to move your seats, please call us at 916.808.2000. We will make every effort to meet your request. However, please note that certain sections have little flexibility, such as the Grand Tier Boxes. If we can’t immediately move your seats, we can include your name on a waitlist and notify you of any openings.

Faqs

I can’t use my tickets, what should I do? There are a couple of options when you can’t attend a concert: You may pass your tickets on to a friend or relative. You may also donate your tickets back to the SP&O. Ticket donations MUST be made at least 24 hours prior to a concert. We will not accept ticket donations at the Box Office window. When you donate your tickets back it reopens your seats for resale, and the value of tickets is then counted as a tax-deductible donation.

Are there any other charges associated with my ticket purchase? Yes. When you purchase your ticket(s) there is a standard $10 per transaction processing/handling/mailing fee and a $3 per ticket Facility Fee, which the Sacramento Community Center Theater charges the SP&O.
Are there special discounts for groups? Yes, there is a group rate of 10% off for groups of ten or more.

What are the payment options for groups? The SP&O accepts checks and credit card payment methods. However, it is recommended that there be one financial contact for the transaction as a whole—especially for very large groups.

I lost my ticket—what should I do? If you purchased a ticket, you’ll be in the ticketing system electronically. In the event that you lost your ticket(s), you may simply call the SP&O at 916.808.2000 and in most cases we will be able to reprint your ticket for you. You may also go to the Box Office, show your ID, and they can reprint your ticket for you, too. Or you can call the Box Office directly at 916.808.5181.
