One of Beethoven’s personal favorites, the symphony captivated listeners from the beginning – audiences demanded a mid-symphony encore during its premiere. World-renowned and Grammy Award-winning violinist Augustin Hadelich also joins the orchestra for Brahms’s Violin Concerto. From its gripping opening to its gorgeously drawn melodies, the concerto enthralls and moves with its colorful splendor.
