Vanessa Martucci is an Italian-American soprano originally from Sacramento, California. She studied under many teachers including acclaimed mezzo soprano, Juliana Gondek, and performed in a masterclass for Plácido Domingo while attending the University of California in Los Angeles. She was the recipient of several Music Scholarships and won first place in the Robert S. Dinsmore Opera Scholarship Competition. Roles she has performed include Adele from Die Fledermaus, Sandrina in Mozart’s La Finta Giardiniera, Eurydice from Orpheus in the Underworld, Melissa from Amadigi by Händel, Noemi from Massanet’s Cendrillon, Angel Moore from the English opera The Mother of Us All, and Maria Bertram from Jonathan’s Dove Mansfield Park.
