Zoë Simone García is a Mexican-American coloratura soprano from Northern California, currently pursuing her Master of Music in Vocal Performance at California State University, Sacramento, where she studies with mezzo-soprano Julie Miller and opera director Ryan Murray.
For Zoë, the human voice is the most authentic instrument; capable of moving, delighting, and reminding us of our shared humanity. Her recent performances include her European debut as La Fée in Massenet’s Cendrillon with the Berlin Opera Academy and the role of Belinda in Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas at Sacramento State. In addition to opera, she has a deep love for performing in intimate and sacred spaces… whether in recitals, baroque works, or bringing new compositions to life.
A graduate of St. Olaf College with a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Music Education, Zoë is passionate about inspiring the next generation of musicians. She teaches choir at Camellia Waldorf School and runs a private voice studio, helping students of all ages find joy and confidence in their voices. She loves what singing asks of her…to be present, to collaborate creatively, and to listen deeply in a busy world.
