E. Scott Levin


Bass-Baritone, E. Scott Levin has been described as having a “smooth, buttery voice,” “incredibly sharp timing,” and “a gifted comic actor.” He earned his BA from Washington University in St. Louis and Graduate Certificate in Vocal Performance from the USC Thornton School of Music. Since 2002, Scott has sung almost sixty distinct roles with many companies Southern California and abroad including Opera Santa Barbara, Townsend Opera, Pacific Opera Project, Union Avenue Opera, Salt Marsh Opera, and the Southern Illinois Music Festival. In 2015, he made his mainstage debut at LA Opera as Dr. Spinelloccio in Gianni Schicchi and returned last May as Hormigon in El Gato Montes, both starring Placido Domingo. Scott is thrilled to return to Sacramento Symphony and Opera, after appearing as the Sacristan in Tosca.
